It is well known that children enjoy playing. However, the importance of it is actually underestimated by most. Kids with a healthy imagination often grow to view the world with more curiosity and become great problem solvers who find success. These skills are ones every parent would love for their child to attain and the recipe for it is right here. Here are some tips from a nursery in Hitchin on boosting your child’s imagination.

Top tips to boost your child’s imagination
From a very young age, reading is something that is introduced. This is a great way to get them to develop a lifelong habit for something that is fantastic in sparking a child’s imagination. Picture books are a great way to start for the little ones. You’ll notice that they’ll use their own imagination to create stories and with curiosity, will lead to the acknowledgment of new languages and vocabulary. Use the library to your advantage and read to them daily. It is a great way to bond with your child and figure out what their interests are.
Playing is an easy and effective one. This simple activity encourages creativity and imagination. Playful games are a great way to get your child to interact and tap into their minds. Find ways to incorporate games into your daily routine to accompany hectic schedules. Find games to play in traffic or during clean up time at dinner. Keeping your child’s mind engaged will be a great way for them to explore their imagination further.
Get active and take the fun outdoors! Spending time together and making new discoveries as it boosts both enthusiasm as well as imagination. Pack a lunch and spend a good amount of time out. Nature offers much more than you’d think. Not only will they feel free to explore, but the opportunities for learning about new colours, smells and sights are endless too.
