What do you get a baby for Christmas when they don’t even know what’s going on? I always used to think there was no point in going over the top, but then I saw how many fab things there are to buy, and have to admit it’s easier said than done!
So here are a few ideas I know your babies will love…
Plum Play 3 in 1 cabin kitchen
My boys have this and LOVE it. It’s not just an ordinary wooden kitchen – the 3 in 1 element makes it way more versatile and entertaining. It can inspire hours of imaginative role play, and the fold-out sections can be positioned to create various play scenes.
The kids can get cooking in the kitchen with the frying pan, spoon and spatula, open the oven door (and hide important things like Mummy’s car keys in there!), turn the dials or wash the dishes with the turning taps in the removable sink.
If they ever get bored of the kitchen chores (easily, if they’re anything like me), you can change the scenario and they can then serve milkshakes to the diners or do some laundry in the utility room. Then just before bedtime, swap again and let them take to the stage to put on a show for the whole family. All three of my boys have enjoyed playing with this – but particularly the Twins. The head-in-the-hole panel has been an endless source of peekaboo fun between the two of them. It’s been hilarious to watch. Made of MDF, the kitchen feels sturdy but not so heavy that you can’t move it. I’d definitely recommend it this Christmas!
Bing’s Favourite Things board book
Your babies will love this fabulously-shaped board book this Christmas all about what the popular rabbit loves to do. Perfect for fans of the Cbeebies series, this chunky board book is packed with all the things Bing loves to do from Vooshing with Hoppity to hugs with Flop. It’s shaped like Bing too, so is fun and sturdy for little hands.

Count with Peppa

Thank you! It’s impossible sometimes, especially when they don’t “need” anything! The Peppa toy looks great, my 3 year old was looking over my shoulder at my laptop and has his eye on that one!
