Sponsored posts and reviews
There are loads of opportunities to feature your brand on my blog or social media channels – whether that’s a full blogpost review on my website, or posts on my Facebook or Instagram pages. All products will be reviewed by myself or both my family and I together, and written about honestly.
Travel writing
I have been travel writing for more than 10 years, and have reviewed hotels and destinations all over the world including Singapore, Croatia, Thailand, Italy, and USA. Freelance writing
I have a journalistic background having been a newspaper reporter and a news editor for nearly 15 years, so love to do freelance writing as well as the ‘mum stuff’ for my blog. I am a columnist for the Western Morning News’ ‘West’ magazine, and also write for other websites including Made For Mums, and am always up for freelance writing for magazines and websites.
Awards
I was named the winner of the Britmums Brilliance in Blogging Awards 2018, in the Fresh Voice Category when my blog was just 10 months old, and the Readers’ Choice Category in the same awards in 2019. Then I won the Baby and Toddler Influencer of the Year in the MAD Blog 2020 Awards which were delayed until 2021, and more recently the Luxlife Parenting Lifestyle Blogger of the Year 2023 – SW England. In my pre-kids journalist life I also won South West Reporter of the Year in the EDF awards.
TV, Radio and Newspapers
I have appeared on TV and a lot including ITV news talking about how to keep young children cool in a heatwave, BBC news talking about homeschooling in lockdown, and BBC Radio about all sorts of topical items – such as the random things small kids get stuck up their noses!
I regularly appear live on BBC Radio Devon’s talking about all things Mum and have also featured on the Jeremy Vine Show and Radio Five Live talking about twin parenting.
I am a columnist for the Western Morning News’ ‘West’ magazine and have appeared in the Plymouth Herald, Western Morning News, Plymouth Magazine, and Heart FM.
